Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is a private outpatient physical therapy practice serving Ventura County as well as the Conejo and San Fernando Valley communities. APTSM was founded by two Master Clinicians with a commitment to clinical excellence. We work in tandem with many local physicians as well as those in the greater Los Angeles area.
Dr. Eric Honbo and Dr. Cody Jones have had the rare opportunity to directly train with some of the leading doctors, PT pioneers and educators in the world such as Stan Paris, Olaf Evjenth, David Butler, Brian Mulligan, Earl Pettman, Anne Porter Hoke, Joe Godges, and George Davies. We work with the best in the profession-not only in the laboratory and classroom but also in the clinic, the operating room, and on the field.
We have directly observed many of the surgeries that we commonly rehabilitate post-operatively in our clinic. Both Cody and Eric feel that a complete understanding of the patient's experience helps them obtain the best possible outcome.

Dr. Eric Honbo has been practicing orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine since 1997.
As a previous Chicago and New York City Marathon finisher, Eric understands the patients' desires to compete, set goals & achieve them.
He has worked with patients of all ages and abilities who have experienced orthopedic and neurological injuries - including many MLB, NFL, NBA, NCAA and Olympic athletes, as well as numerous professional musicians.
Eric serves as a consultant to the Chinese Olympic Committee, provides direct treatment interventions to Olympic athletes, and gives clinical lectures to the National Team medical training staff.

Ron has been treating patients since 1997 and became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 1999.
He has provided Athletic Training services for the NBA summer camp, AMA Supercross, Air It Out, Hoop it Up and Junior Volleyball Festival.
At California State University, Northridge he was the athletic trainer for the women's soccer team, managing all medical issues on campus and while traveling.
He enjoys the opportunity to treat Olympians and players from the MLB, NBA, PGA, NFL, MLS, and NCAA.
After fully recovering from three knee surgeries, including an ACL reconstruction, plenty of ankle sprains and shoulder strains, Ron understands how much work it takes to get back into playing shape.

Prior to joining Advanced Physical Therapy, Nancy worked for Los Angeles Capital Management, where she was responsible for overseeing all of the firm's funds performance measurement and related staff and Cliffwater LLC, where she managed the day-to-day operations and performance reporting of the hedge fund reporting team.
