Services
Injury Treatment
Specialized care for dance-related injuries combines manual therapy techniques with sport-specific rehabilitation. Our therapists address acute injuries and chronic conditions while considering the unique biomechanical demands of dance. Treatment plans incorporate functional movement analysis and progressive strengthening to ensure safe returns to performance.
Pointe Readiness Assessment
Comprehensive evaluations determine a dancer's physical preparedness for pointe work. We assess ankle strength, core stability, and alignment through clinical testing and movement analysis. This service includes personalized conditioning recommendations to prevent injury while developing technical proficiency for en pointe dancing.
Dance Technique Analysis
Video-based analysis identifies technical inefficiencies and injury risks in dance movements. Our experts evaluate alignment, muscle activation patterns, and joint mechanics during specific dance sequences. Findings inform targeted interventions to improve performance quality and reduce musculoskeletal strain.
Pilates Reformer Exercises
Customized Pilates programs enhance core stability, flexibility, and muscular balance for dancers. Reformer-based exercises improve body awareness and movement control while addressing muscle imbalances. This service supports injury prevention and performance enhancement through controlled resistance training.
In-Studio Seminars
On-site educational sessions cover injury prevention strategies, summer intensive preparation, and performance optimization. These seminars provide dancers with practical tools for self-care and body maintenance. Topics include strength conditioning, proper warm-up techniques, and recognizing injury warning signs.
